Samarthyam is working on the Accessible Delhi campaign with several government and non government organizations. As a result of Samarthyam’s partnership Connaught Place, Hanuman Mandir, New Delhi Railway station, Nizammuddin station, Anand Vihar railway station, Sarai Kale Khan bus terminal and pedestrian infrastructure have universal accessible features.

Inclusive CWG 2010

Samarthyam conducted access audits and provided report recommendations for access improvement in the upcoming infrastructure in New Delhi to Delhi Government. Based on the recommendations of audit reports, all venues are made accessible for elite athletes with disabilities and spectators by Sports Authority of India and Organizing Committee, Commonwealth Games 2010.

Accessible Multi-Use Toilets

Samarthyam have facilitated process of accessible public toilets in Delhi for public convenience for the Commonwealth Games 2010. We conducted: plan vetting for 300 public toilets for Municipal Corporation of Delhi and monitoring of 13 toilets under DTC at major terminuses.
